Appointment Decree of Dr. Seyyed Mohammad-Reza Amiri Tehrani as head of the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies has been issued.

The Minister of Science, Research, and Technology has issued a decree appointing Dr. Seyed Mohammad Reza Amiri Tehrani as the President of the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies (IHCS) for a four-year term.

According to the IHCS’s Public Relations Department, following the completion of the statutory appointment process and the initial issuance of an acting appointment decree on June 8, 2026, Dr. Hossein Simaei, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, issued the official decree appointing Dr. Amiri Tehrani as President.

Under this decree, Dr. Amiri Tehrani’s presidency is confirmed for a four-year term, effective from the date he assumed the role of acting president.
